About Tiffany

Hello Families. My name is Tiffany. All of the children that I've ever cared for call me Miss Tiff. I've been a professional nanny for over five years and have been caring for children for over 10 years. My experience ranges from newborn to 10 years old including twins. In all of my positions, my philosophy has been to partner with parents to foster the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of their children by providing a safe, caring and nurturing environment. I've provided care during the day, evenings, overnight and occasionally over the weekends. In my role as a nanny I understand the influence I have in the lives of children, therefore it is important for me to always display a positive attitude, compassion, strength, humor, creativity, manners and have great communication. Because children learn by imitating, I understand that the examples that the caretakers (both parents and nanny) set will be what they mimic. My responsibilities for toddlers and up has been providing transportation to and from school, play dates, activities, pretend play, accompanying mother's to doctor's appointments; assisting with potty training, sleep training, laundry, baths and meals. I believe children should be introduced to nature, science, reading and different cultures therefore I create activities to ensure they have those experiences. With one of my families, I implemented a Parent Lunch Day that gave the executive parents and their child additional quality time together at the parents place of employment. My responsibilities with infants has been to make them very comfortable by feeding them, keeping them clean, ensuring they have a lots of rest, fresh air, soft gentle tones and a whole lot of love. I love reading to children as it not only is enjoyable but reading is so beneficial to children. Children who are read to have a higher aptitude of learning, they grasp the fundamentals of language and enunciation skills and are better able to communicate as they get older. In every home I have had the opportunity and honor to be employed, I have consistently demonstrated an ability to multitask and provided exceptional service, while maintaining the trust and confidence of my employers.
