As a childcare provider with 15 years of experience, I am passionate about nurturing children's growth and making a positive impact on their lives. My patient and calm nature complements my creative and imaginative personality, making me an approachable caregiver for children aged 0-11. With five nieces and nephews of my own, I understand the importance of open communication with parents. I value their preferred method of communication and provide verbal updates at drop off time to ensure they are informed about their child's day/weekend. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing a variety of games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, and educational games that promote learning. My First Aid and CPR training, along with my willingness to help with cooking, light housekeeping, and swimming supervision, make me a well-rounded childcare provider.

Tierra came to us highly recommended through a friend for whom she had worked as a nanny for around five years. She has greatly exceeded my expectations taking care of two 1-2 year olds in a nanny share setting, including my toddler. The way that she plays with them is highly interactive, fun, and age appropriate, and she has a gift for fostering healthy social-emotional development, which I especially appreciate since I’m a child therapist. She drives and takes the toddlers on fun outings to libraries, nature centers, and playgrounds daily in addition to reading and playing with them at home. She is a baby whisperer when it comes to napping and sleep trained my son for naps with NO tears—amazing! She makes healthy lunches for my son every day that look better than the ones I make for him. She is reliable and has never once been late in the year she has been working for us, and has been able to work late as needed as long as we give her notice. She has been extremely flexible in allowing each family to have different hours with her, allowing me to work with her part time and the other family full time. She always leaves the areas that she plays with the kids in better shape than she found them. Your family will be in good hands with Tierra!
