I'd describe my personality as empathetic, patient and kind. I like caring for seniors because they tend to have amazing stories to tell and I admire their knowledge and wisdom. I'm looking for a job that I can be a blessing to someone else, by providing assistance with errands, grocery shopping and prescription pick ups. I started caring for seniors in their homes as a personal care aide, where I provided assistance with bathing, meal prep, errands, and light housekeeping. I later on became a certified geriatric assistant working in a skilled nursing facility. In my spare time, I like to be creative. I love sewing, listening to music, and reading. One thing you should know about me is that I am a natural caregiver/ nurturer and I love being of service to others. I'm big on treating others with respect, being honest and going above and beyond. My skills include empathy, assisting with daily activities and working with individuals Alzheimer's dementia.
