Former nanny, current teacher and tutor! I graduated in 2019 with my BA in English as well as minors in Education and Communication. I graduated with my Master's degree in Education at UW in 2021, and have worked as a public school teacher in Seattle ever since! I am certified to teach Language Arts and ELL grades 6-12; I currently teach AP Language and Composition, Mock Trial, and 11th Grade ELA. Before teaching full time, I worked as a manager for an agriculture business that employs teens and as a speech coach; both of these jobs involve working with anywhere between 1 and 60+ kids at a time! Although working primarily with preteens and teenagers, I grew up with 7 siblings and have experience working with kids of all ages. I would love to tutor 1:1 either virtually or in-person on a regular basis throughout the school year. Can't wait to meet you!

Tiana was fantastic watching our children. She was very flexible with our needs throughout the day since we needed her assistance several hours beyond what we originally had discussed with her. Most importantly the kids had a good time with her. We would definitely hire Tiana again!
