About Thomas

I'd describe my personality as gregarious, compassionate and interested. I like caring for seniors because I am one and I was a full time caregiver for my wife before she passed. I am also a trained end-of-life care doula at the Center for Conscious Living and Dying. I'm looking for a job that provides relief and security to the family of the one being cared for while I compassionately care for and love their family member. I started caring for seniors when my wife became ill and required 24/7 caregiving over the four years until she passed. In my spare time, I like to sculpt, read and write. One thing you should know about me is that I believe that our reason for existing is to give of our selves to others. My skills include coordinating with hospice, making certain that those who I care for are comfortable physically, emotionally and mentally and my understanding of what happens to us psychologically when we age.
