About Thomas

I cared for my wife 24/7 and am a trained, volunteer, end-of-life care doula with the Center for Conscious Living and Dying in Swannanoa. I administer medications prescribed according to Hospice and work compassionately with people my own age (74). I am capable of doing, but prefer not to do, personal hygiene with a female due to my gender, being alone and liability concerns. Our mission in life is to give our selves to others. The opportunity to help those who are no longer able to help themselves is a blessing. I'd describe my personality as gregarious, curious and helpful. I like caring for seniors because it's our mission on earth. I'm looking for a job that enables me to share compassion with others my own age and help relieve their families from the burden of care. I like to sculpt, read, write, meditate and communicate with family. I'm dedicated to my mission but value my free time to be introspective. My skills include compassion, relatability, loving care and wisdom.
