About Thomas

Hi! I'm a Stanford student studying Computer Science and Product Design, with extra time to help my local community. I have over 3+ years of teaching experience (Mathnasium, teaching Stanford courses, private tutoring experience). As a dog and hamster owner, and past dog sitter, I have 5+ years of experience taking care of pets. I also have experience with babysitting. I'd describe my personality as detail-oriented, adaptable, and playful. I like tutoring because education has been one of the strong pillars of my life, allowing me to go to a top college despite being a first-generation & low-income students. Enlightening students with the beauty of education by accessibly teaching them material is a strong passion of mine. I started tutoring when I was in middle school, 10 years ago. In my spare time, I like to write, go to museums, go to the gym, cook, and go out with friends. I also love playing with my dog, Dena. Main skills: math, English, science, and engineering.
