I've always felt that we have more to learn from kids than they do from us. As someone who's been involved in the arts since a young age, I try to maintain that creative and inquisitive spirit that they seem to possess so effortlessly. Throughout my 9+ years experience in childcare, I've never met a child who didn't leave a lasting, positive impact on me. Likewise, I've learned from each family I've worked with that everyone has their own unique method of caring for their kiddos. Luckily, listening and adaptability are two of my strengths. I always put the parents' values first to preserve in their children the qualities that make them a part of that special family. As a caregiver, my utmost goal is to meet them on their level. I am extremely creative; I like to jump into whatever new world your kids have imagined up on any given day! I have the unique ability to understand children; I see them as people who deserve respect and to be taken seriously as adults are.

Hiring TJ was hands down one of the best decisions we made during my maternity leave. For a full year, he was with us almost daily, helping care for our sweet (and sometimes chaotic!) infant—and honestly, I don’t know how we would’ve made it through that first year without him. TJ has a natural ease with babies: he knew exactly when to be silly, when to be soothing, and when we needed a break more than the baby did! He brought such a calming, joyful energy into our home, whether it was singing goofy songs during diaper changes, inventing baby-friendly games, or just gently rocking our little one to sleep while I tried to remember what a shower felt like. He was always on time, incredibly respectful of our routines (and our mess!), and just blended seamlessly into the rhythm of our days. But more than anything, TJ cared. Truly, wholeheartedly cared. He celebrated every milestone with us like he was part of the family—and honestly, by the end of the year, he was. We were heartbroken to see him go when I went back to work, and whoever hires him next is getting more than just a nanny—they’re getting a steady hand, a kind heart, and a total baby whisperer. Don’t even hesitate.
