About Thien

Hi! My name is Thien, I am easy going and love interacting with people, especially with people of younger age. I am current a student of University of Washington, majoring in mathematics and possibly in English. It is the process of helping and sharing knowledge with others that attracts me the most. I enjoy working with others and also form connections with other people. By utilizing my knowledge I will be able to help others overcoming their difficulties in school works. This, in turn, would help me improve my communication skill and would help me understand more about others as a result. I was a volunteer tutor for Pipeline Project (an educational organization) for 6 months, with experiences with tutoring with high school students and planning teaching curriculum. I also volunteered for leadership position in a Summer Camp program and an event planner for a non-profit organization in Vietnam.
