About Theresa

Hi! I really enjoy being with children and am a natural, intuitive and aware caregiver. I especially love being outside, imaginative play, cooking and crafts. I believe children thrive with love, kindness, listening, patience, modeled curiosity, mutual respect and clear and consistent expectations, boundaries and rhythms. I have two teenagers, aged 14 and 17. I taught kids at Flying Deer Nature Center for 10 years. There, I designed and implemented curriculum for ages 4-13. I have great references and connections there still with staff, families and former students. Now, I mentor a woman with developmental disabilities, part time. However, I am looking for more part time work and hoping to be with kids, of any age, again. I also love animals and can help with healthy cooking and cleaning. I'm organized, mature, reliable, creative, fun, positive, down to earth, patient and caring. Thanks for your consideration. I'll look forward to meeting you!
