About Theresa

Hi! I'm Theresa, an experienced tutor with a strong background in working with K-8 students in reading, writing, and math. I specialize in creating personalized, engaging lessons that support each student's learning style, including those with IEPs or unique academic needs. I currently tutor part-time and work at a local Tutoring Center, where I focus on building confidence, reinforcing foundational skills, and helping students prepare for assessments like CAASPP. I also support homeschool families and understand the importance of flexibility and creativity in learning. My approach is patient, supportive, and encouraging-I strive to make learning a positive experience. Outside of teaching, I enjoy hiking, traveling, walking my two dogs, and going to Disneyland when I can! I'd love to connect and see how I can help your child succeed.
