About Theresa

Hi! I have been working with children since I was a teenager in High School. I worked for a private day care and volunteered at my church with the youth programs. From 2016 to 2017, I worked as a paraprofessional at a local elementary school. I took a break when my daughter was born, then returned to childcare in 2018. For a year, I worked as a respite worker for a child with special needs. My job duties included morning care, providing breakfast and assisting the child getting ready for school and putting them on the school bus. Then in the afternoon, I would take the child off the school bus, provide a snack, help with any homework, then keep the child engaged with activities until the parent arrived home. Currently, I work for a local day care. The age range I work with is 12-18 months, but I am comfortable helping older children. I am willing to do some light housework, transportation to school or extracurricular activities, crafts, homework, etc.
