About Theresa

I made the difficult decision 20 years ago to give up a challenging and lucrative position in banking to care for my two children after experiencing a year of extreme difficulty with child care. I understand the needs and concerns of working parents, and have experienced first hand the difficulties of finding and retaining a nurturing and responsible caregiver. Parents are faced with one of the most difficult decisions of their lives in finding care for their children. For the past 20 years, I have taught preschool, and have gained expertise and understanding in working to support little ones through these critical years. I believe in respecting the unique abilities of each child, and know that children are naturally driven to learn, explore, and grow through play. Nature has an important role to play in the education of children, and exposure to the natural world is critical to developing a future generation able to connect deeply with the earth and all living things.
