About Theresa

I'd describe my personality as friendly, kind, and caring. I like working with kids because it is highly rewarding and meaningful. I'm looking for a job that allows me to do what I love, stay busy over the summer, and sharpen my skill set. I started working with kids as a teen, starting with babysitting, then classes in high school where I worked with preschoolers. Later, I became a parent myself, successfully raising 4 children into adulthood. I taught Pre-k for 5yrs and now I am an elementary teacher and a grandparent. In my spare time, I like to go hiking, biking, and camping. I also like to read, garden, and spend time with family. One thing you should know about me is that I am trustworthy. My skills include child development knowledge, child encouragement and motivation, and valuable experience with children 0-18 years.
