It is my great pleasure to recommend Theo H as a nanny. Theo has been caring for our nearly 2-year-old son since he was only a few weeks old in September of 2021. She worked for us as a full-time nanny during our son’s first year at home and has stayed on with us as a regular sitter 1-2 times per week since he went to school in July of 2022. In addition to caring for our son, Theo also sits for our 7-year-old daughter every other week. Theo is reliable, affectionate, thoughtful, and responsive. She is well versed in child development, due to both her work experience and having raised children of her own. She relates to our little one in such a delightful way, turning practically everything into a fun game. Our daughter absolutely adores her and she has no problem keeping after both of them at the same time, creating activities that appeal to both age groups while keeping them safe and well looked after. Theo knows how to structure time well but is also flexible. She has an excellent understanding of the needs/abilities of our children and is warm and nurturing. We feel so fortunate to have had Theo as our son’s nanny and we are ever grateful for her continued company. Both our kids genuinely look forward to seeing her and are happy to spend time with her, making it easy for us to step away for work and the occasional date night. We are convinced that our son owes much of his positive development to her presence. Theo’s approach to caring for both kids complements our parenting well, as she is incredibly respectful of our personal philosophies while maintaining confidence and the ability to make day-to-day decisions independently. Theo is a gifted care giver and person. We treasure her deeply and value her contributions to our family. I’m confident that she would be a great choice for you as well.
