About Thalia

It's great to meet you! My name is Thalia and I am a law student at Boston University. In my free time, I enjoy photography, dance classes, and long walks around the neighborhood. I am available for sitting/light housekeeping and have a fairly flexible schedule. I have four years of experience as a summer camp counselor where I led a group of elementary and middle-school children through sports and arts & crafts as well as team building and personal development exercises. I also have experience as a high school peer group leader and as an elementary school tutor. Finally, as an aunt of six wonderful nieces and nephews, I have a lot of experience looking after children across age groups in a home setting. I believe that children (like all humans) should be met with respect, curiosity, and compassion. I hope to be a positive, engaged, and genuine presence and welcome opportunities to affirm and nurture children's interests through creative activities and meaningful communication.
