My younger brother has cognitive disabilities and epilepsy. He is an absolute joy and I love hanging out with him. I have helped my parents by caring for my brother when they go out or taking him on neighborhood walks and enrichment activities. Recently I have been caring for a family with two delightful special needs children (both autistic and one also has Down syndrome). I have also volunteered in a special needs elementary school classroom and I was able to bond with many of the students which was very rewarding.
