About Teyuna

Now in my sixth year as a certified elementary teacher in Missouri, I am also certified in Illinois, Maryland, and D. C. I hold a Ph. D. in Communication from Liberty University, with a dissertation exploring African American parents' perceptions of digital practices and their effects on parent-child relationships. I also earned an M. A. in Communications Management from Webster University, a B. A. in Communication from UMSL, and an A. A. in General Transfer Studies from STLCC. Since 2019, I have tutored students at various academic levels and taught as an online adjunct instructor. My expertise spans elementary math, science, English language arts, social sciences, and communications/media studies for advanced learners. I bring a dynamic, real-world-focused approach to education, helping students connect their studies to practical experiences.
