About Tess

Hello, my name is Tess! I'd describe my personality as warm, gentle, and positive. I like working with kids because they make me laugh! I appreciate their imaginations and their ability to be silly and creative. There is so much for me to learn about how they approach life. They help me get in touch with my own inner-child. I am not currently looking for a recurring job, but I'm happy to babysit for date nights or to fill in! I am looking for a job that allows me lean into my interests: cooking, reading, painting, and yoga with kids. I will be a certified 200hr yoga instructor by the end of September and would love to implement what I've learned into a childcare experience. I started working with kids when I was 12 or 13 and was asked to babysit my neighbor. I helped my neighbors all throughout high school. In my spare time, I like to paint, go to coffee shops to read, play piano, journal, walk my dog, and go to the beach! I also enjoy hiking. I love to cook for my family as well.
