About Tess

I have worked at the Boys and Girls Club at Garden City as an after-school counselor. I was in charge of supervising children, running activities, and every so often helping with homework. My job was in the art room, so I would love to plan some art activities and help your kiddo express their inner artist! Also, I am currently pursuing a dual degree in Special Education and Elementary Education. I am so excited to be pursuing a degree that I am passionate about. Currently, I work as a tutor and nanny for a 6th and a 3rd grader. With the 6th grader, I assist with homework that he has for the week and I make sure that he has engagement opportunities outside of electronics. He is moving into in-person schooling in the next two weeks which is why I am looking for another job. The 3rd grader I work with has ADHD and dyslexia.
