Hello I'm Tess and I have been serving the community as a CNA for 13 years. Often times I am referred to as a "Caregiver" however I prefer "LifeGiver"! Enriching the lives of my patients, bringing Purpose, Joy, Meaning, Laughter, Excitement, Dignity & Pride into a seemingly dull life is my true passion & gift in life. Most importantly establishing trust first can lay the foundation for a truly meaningful companionship. This transition is no easy feat. This is where I come in. Transitioning from being a fully independent adult to learning how to rely on people may seem defeating and I often am met with some resistance.. Making my Patient and their family happy can be a tricky task but balance is key! In addition to my CNA license I am also an RNA (restorative nursing assistant). Having this knowledge of rehab, post surgical precautions, appropriate ADL's, following physical therapy orders and overall awareness that can be easily overlooked if not trained to do so.
