About Tessa

I'm Tessa and I have a passion for caring for children and families. I have a B. S. in Health & Nutrition Sciences. I am the eldest of 10 cousins and have been working with children professionally since I was 15. I have taken care of countless children over that time from newborns to adolescence. From part-time sitter, date night sitter, summer counselor at the Brooklyn Museum, to after-school pickup and care. My responsibilities have ranged from preparing snacks and meals, bedtime stories, play dates and homework assistance, changing diapers, feedings, and bathing. My love for children and families is so infinite, that in 2019 I trained to become a doula and currently am certified as a Holistic Fertility, Labor, Lactation, and Postpartum Doula. I will also be embarking on a journey to become a Midwife in the next year or so. I am CPR certified and vaccinated and boosted against COVID. References are available upon request.
