About Tessa

Hello! I'm Tessa, a 22-year-old graduate student at DePaul University studying speech and language pathology. I recently moved to Lincoln Park after graduating UW Madison with a degree in "Communication Sciences and Disorders" and minors in "Disability Rights & Services" and 2D Art. I have a positive attitude and an understanding personality. Pursuing a career in speech-language pathology, I am passionate about working with individuals with developmental/cognitive disabilities. Some of my experience includes three years of PCA experience (ASD, CP, Cornelia De Lange Syndrome), being a program volunteer at Gigi's Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center in Madison WI, and a volunteer at Three Gaits Therapeutic Horsemanship Center for kiddos with disabilities. I have found many fulfilling experiences and hope to continue to learn more about myself while I help out your loved ones and your family.
