About Tessa

I am a wildlife biologist by trade but a pet lover since birth. I've been riding horses for 20 years, and most recently was member of the Grand Canyon Mounted Ranger program where I met and exceeded all basic needs for the park horses with vigorous exercises, sensitivity training, feeding, grooming, mucking, and administering medicine when necessary. My current role as a wildlife biologist has given me professional experience handling all types of wildlife, from carnivores and large ungulates like bison and elk, to birds and reptiles. I approach every animal interaction with meticulous attention to detail and care. My experience across species has given me the knowledge and abilities to determine if pets are happy and healthy, and to take proactive steps if something seems amiss. I am a proud cat mama and dog lover and I firmly believe that pets are a part of the family and should be treated as such. I would love to support your family in any way I can!
