About Tessa

My background is in Healthcare and research. My bachelor's is in Microbiology, and I will be starting PA school this May. I love teaching because there is nothing better than seeing someone's eyes light up when they begin to understand something that once seemed daunting! I believe most people love to learn, but are often put in poor learning environments that lead to self-doubt and frustration. - I have 2 years of experience working as a teacher's aid for college level biology courses. - I have extensive experience leading learning activities for children ages 5-12 through STEM summer camps and programs. - I am a patient teacher and cater my approach based on the student's learning and communication style. - I believe learning should be a positive experience and strive to build confidence and make learning materials engaging.
