About Tesia

Hello! I am an energetic, creative, and qualified caregiver, serving kids of greatly varying needs and abilities. I am a recent graduate of UM's speech-language pathology program. Prior to obtaining my Master's degree, I was a middle school English Language Arts teacher in Memphis through Americorps/ Teach for America. In addition to my 3 years in the classroom and 2 years of pediatric clinical experience, I have experience as a summer camp counselor and party-manager at a bead store catering to children as well as providing care to children, ages ranging from 9 months to 13 years old, of relatives, family friends, and neighbors. I am comfortable with both large and small dogs, however, I have a prohibitive cat allergy. I am new to the Tampa Bay Area as of February, moving from Memphis for my husband's job.
