About Terry

I can travel, craft, swim, dance, play instruments, and enjoy sports. I love kids, animals, & lots of laughter. I started young. My mother operated a daycare out of our home. While my mother was teaching my deaf sister how to read lips and speak, I was responsible for pulling in the slack with the kids. My favorite job as an adult was working as a Kids Counselor, at Tanque Verde Ranch. On our busiest weeks, we had over 100 kids from the ages of 3-11 learning how to ride 1, 000-pound horses. In addition to riding lessons & trail rides, we did crafts, swimming, desert walks with the Naturalist, visits to the nature center, tennis lessons, played games, took them on outings such as breakfast walks to the ranches' homestead, country BBQ picnics, hayrides, rodeos , etc.. It was set in one of the most beautiful deserts on earth, and I loved it.
