I'd describe my personality as capable, versatile, reliable. I like caring for seniors because I appreciate their life experience and needs, and enjoy helping them lead fulfilling and safe lives. I'm looking for a part time day job requiring light housekeeping, shopping, bathing, making snacks/simple meals, exercise, companionship, healthcare support. I started caring for seniors when sharing housing with a disabled senior woman in 2016. In 2021, I became an IHSS caregiver in Marin County and have worked with disabled adults since then. In my spare time, I like to walk, bike, read, attend live music events and sing karaoke. One thing you should know about me is I help clients secure needed services, and often function more as a case manager. My skills include closely listening to clients to understand, evaluate and meet their needs; problem-solving to secure best options to meet those needs; versatility / adaptability to provide diverse services as needs change.
