Patient, warm, kind, playful, attentive, knowledgeable child-centered care. Retired teacher seeking part-time position for 1 child, newborn-2 yr. The psychological/physical health of a child is of the utmost importance. I engage in ways that encourage age appropriate benchmarks for healthy growth and development. Children, regardless of age, must feel safe and secure. I will ensure this for your child with gentle warmth and kindness. As my primary focus is the interaction, care, comfort, health, and safety of your child i. e. play, cuddles, child's food preparation/feeding, child's laundry, keeping the nursery/play area tidy, I do not provide housekeeping beyond that involving the care of your child. At the end of each day, areas of your home used in the care of your child will be neat and tidy.
