I am a licensed RN. I recently retired from nys teaching a medication administration and CPR classes to direct care workers. Although I signed up with Care.com years ago, I have not yet worked for a family with care.com. I am currently working per diem as a certified teachers assistant and have worked with children in preschool, elementary, junior, and senior high schools. In the past, I've worked caring for differently abled adults in group homes, with psychiatric patients in a hospital setting, in a preschool and special needs school, and supervised cna's who worked with the elderly in their homes. I am primarily looking for one time jobs, or a recurring position one day per week. I may be more available in the summer months or when schools are closed.
