Terrie has an instinctive compassion to help people. She is particularly good with the elderly and children and youth of all ages. Her work with public school children shows her empathy for those struggling with academic and emotional issues as she has tutored them in weak areas. She continued her care and guidance in helping church youth as well as ROTC cadets in pursuing careers and assisting with community service. She has given much time unselfishly to assist so many of all ages in every community in which she has lived. I witnessed her love and care not only for her grandmother but also for other elderly people in the assisted living community when she made regular visits. Her warm smile and caring nature is obvious as soon as you see her interaction with the elderly.
