Hello, My name is Terra and I am the mother of two biological daughters and two step daughters. I have previous experience with special needs children and adults. I worked programs with the Community Services Department for the City of Ontario, California. The majority of these folks were diagnosed with Down Syndrome. I also volunteered one year and worked for pay one year with the Special Olympics. I worked with children at an after school program with a variety of diagnoses. These included brain injuries, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and blindness. I have also done care giving for family group homes. It has been awhile since I have worked with the special needs community but I greatly miss it and look forward to beginning again! I would love to work with your family.
