The last 5 years, I have worked as a home care caregiver for agencies. I love caring for the elderly/disabled and take pride in normalizing their lives as much as possible. Most patients have dementia and so get combative but I have been doing this long enough to know what tools to use to help in a combative situation and how to diffuse them. I really enjoy giving people the best quality of life in their home homes and also helping their family with cleaning, errands, doctor's appointments and more.
