About Teri

I have a 14-year-old daughter who is a wonderful girl, responsible, loves children and children love her. She is my best model of experience with children. I have worked in VBS camps and take care of many of my Pastor's children overnight or long weekends. I grew up babysitting and enjoy crafting and playing with all age groups. It is also fun to do learning games. I believe all children should be loved on and also learned to love and respect others. I don't believe a "sitter" should sit. Interaction is really what one is paid to do. When I was younger and my daughter was small, I worked and needed a caregiver only two or three days a week. It was hard to find. Those that I did find sat on the couch and did nothing with her to stimulate her. Maybe this is part of the reason I now want to return the favor of the woman I did find to care for my daughter. I do have other obligations with my daughter, but am available during the day after 7 a.m. and am flexible depending on the day for ending hours. Even for those moms that just want to get a break (which always makes for a better mom) to work out, go to lunch, visit friends, or simply sit and read a book need someone.
