About Teri

I've been a certified teacher for over two decades, with a passion for nurturing young minds and making a positive impact in the lives of children and their families. My background includes early childhood education and coursework in early child development. I've honed my skills as a patient, creative, and approachable caregiver who is very comfortable enforcing household rules. I believe in open and regular communication with parents, providing daily written reports, verbal updates at pickup, and regular text or phone call updates. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games, puzzles, and educational games that encourage learning. I can comfortably care for up to four children, ranging in ages from four to 11 and beyond. Besides childcare, I can also assist with cooking, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and supervising swimming activities.
