About Teri

Hello! I am a passionate, patient, and encouraging teacher with more than 14 years experience helping kids thrive academically on an Elementary level in Reading, Writing, Math, and English. As a teacher, I enjoy nurturing student success by enhancing strengths and shattering doubts. My current Utah teaching license is for grades K-6, and I am in the process of attaining a PA state teaching license for grades K-4. My range of experience includes working in the Brick and Mortar classroom, private tutoring one on one and small groups, homeschooling, and online ESL tutoring. With my experience tutoring online for the last 4 years, I have developed effective online classroom management strategies to keep your kiddos engaged and therefore learning. Beyond teaching, you can find me in the children's literature section of the bookstore, training for a race, singing at home, or exploring the outdoors with family. I look forward to helping your child reach new academic heights!
