About Teri

As a retired teacher with a 30 year career in public education, as well as a mom of 5 and grandmother of 2, much of my life has revolved around kids! I have taught elementary, middle and high school students, both in the classroom and online. My favorite thing to teach is computer applications. I have also helped 7th graders transition to middle school for 17 years, giving them help with time management, organization, note taking, test taking, and research skills. I also provided support to At-Risk students in their various classes at school. Even though I loved my students, my favorite students are at home, so I retired to be more available to my family. We love to spend time together playing games and traveling a couple of times per year. I am hoping to work a few hours per week to earn the extra funds to take trips together. In my free time, I love to sing and play the piano, sew and craft, volunteer for a local charity, and throw parties for family and friends!
