Hello, I have been a nanny & also a caregiver for over 15 years. I do love working with children. I have homeschooled up to third grade. I am very creative & artistic so I love making crafts, painting, play games, puzzles grow a garden, help with school projects & homework. I love reading books & making it fun for kids, with lots of expression. I am patient with all children & those who have learning disabilities. I just love interacting with children. I do like to make everyday a good day since I have a positive outlook & laughing is good for the soul. I don't drink, smoke & drug free. I am single, so I am very flexible with scheduling, I drive a minivan & good driver since being a Mother myself, safety is high on my list . I have had First Aid and CPR training, ensuring I'm well-equipped to handle any situation. I'm also happy to assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, errands & travel. To Whom It May Concern: Teri T. was volunteering as a reading tutor at my children’s school in fall of 2014. My daughter was 7 at the time and was struggling to keep up with her reading assignments. I spoke with Teri about perhaps working with my daughter in my home as I worked and also needed supervision for my 9 year old son. What initially started out as only tutoring evolved into Teri being caretaker for the kids. She was willing to make them snacks after school, took them to the park and after school programs that I was unable to do because of my erratic work schedule. J. and K. loved Teri and I always knew my kids were in safe and nurturing environment. I had an opportunity to take a position outside of Florida and was grateful that both the kids (and I) had her in our lives for nearly 5 years. I highly recommend Teri for any position with children!
