About Teresa

Over the last 3+ years I have cared for three elderly women, ages 95-103 years old. Two of them had dementia and limited sight and hearing. I enjoyed talking, reading and praying with each of them. I had a constant communication with each family and updated them daily. I have experience in everything from light housework, laundry, cooking, cleaning, errands, assistance with dressing, showering all the way to hospice car assistance. My father also had dementia and I assisted in his care. I believe in treating those I care for as I would want to be treated, with patience, dignity and respect. I embrace learning new skills and tailoring care to each person. Prior to elder companion/home/health care and assistance I was in retail and restaurant management for over 25years. I have owned my own businesses in retail and leadership/personal development and also worked in banking. I have found companion and elder care to be a calling and truly enjoy what I do.
