I am a Mom and grandparent. I have taken care of friends and family members for many years. I have taken care of them when they are well, sick and after various types of surgery. I was a pharmacy tech for 6 years, and helped family members with their medications. So I have knowledge when it comes to medications and various illnesses. I may not have been paid as a caregiver, but I have take care of friends and family members for over 40 years. I believe we can learn a lot from older people, if we just take the time to listen to them. Personally, I love to listen to stores of their life experiences.
