When I graduated high school in 2014 I started working at ARC of Seneca Cayuga I worked there for roughly 3 years at the adult dayhab. I worked at their summer camp that they have for children with special needs. I absolutely enjoyed this job, we were always doing activities and focusing on daily living skills as well. I left there to further my experience and became a CNA which taught me a lot with ambulation and transferring as well as other techniques. I worked at the nursing facility for a year and started working at an assisted living facility and became a med tech. I love to take care of people and make a difference in someone's life, I was diagnosed with cancer when I was young and the nursing staff that took care of me had an huge impact on my life and that's something I've always wanted to do.
