Thank you for your consideration to allow me to watch your senior relative. I've taken care of my senior parents and grandmother, on and off. From medication management, doctors visits, companionship and entertaining them. I once had a part time job working as a social services assistant at a nursing facility, and had to interview them regularly. They have good long term memory and little short term memory and remember so much about their childhood. I learned companionship is what's most needed within our senior citizens. They have so many stories to tell and not many have time to listen. It is said that it takes a village to raise a child, but I'd say this applies also to our senior citizens. We will all be in the same boat. May we have someone to love us then.
