Hello, My name is Teri and I have recently retired from a 30 year career as a social worker and educator. I've discovered that I'm not quite ready for full retirement, so I am seeking to assist a senior on a part time basis. I assisted with caring for my grandmother and brother until they passed and I also cared for a woman with cancer. Experience with hospice and early dementia. I often see many people treat seniors with disdain, impatience and intolerance today. I can assure you that I will treat your loved one with the utmost respect, dignity and kindness. I have a great sense of humor and a sunny disposition with immense patience. I WANT to care for others. Caring for others has been my life's calling and is what feeds my soul and fills my heart. I'm very good at cleaning, cooking, entertaining, running errands and willing to do whatever fits the needs of who I'm assisting. Prefer Valrico, Lithia and Brandon areas, though may consider other areas depending on distance.
