I am an Orthopedic/Neurology/Telemetry who can provide direct nursing assistance to medical-surgical patients within the acute care setting including: activities of daily living, vital signs, assisting registered nurse/physician in medical examinations and procedures. I've been collaborating with nurses, physicians, therapists and social services who facilitate the patient's development of self care knowledge through rehabilitation and recovery process. I input all medical orders from physicians and nurses into McKesson computer system. At Home Health care, I also cared for disabled, chronically ill, or cognitively impaired children and older adults, who may need assistance. My clients live in their own homes and need more care than family or friends can provide. As an aide, I provide housekeeping and homemaking tasks such as laundry, change bed linens, shopping, meal planning and cooking, and help clients get out of bed, bathe, dress, and groom.
