About Tera

I spent three years working at Gales Creek Camp, which is an overnight camp for children with type 1 diabetes. Ages ranged from second grade - high school seniors. I was trained medically to test glucose levels, administer tabs and insulin, and helped coach children on how to plan their meals. I also directed and created the daily schedules for the children, which included activities ranging from swimming and hiking, to crafts and movie nights. These years of experience helped me realize that I am passionate about giving children the safest, most enjoyable experiences during their time with me! I love to engage with children and find myself having as much fun as they are.
