Hello! I'm a recent college graduate with over 8 years of childcare experience. I have an encyclopedic knowledge of crafts, recipes, games, and stories and am a playful person in general. I'm great with kids, plants, and animals. As a former nanny, preschool teacher, and foster care visitation specialist, I've also worked with older youth and with infants. I have seen a lot of behaviors and worked with some pretty strong emotions. I am confident in my abilities and methods and am not easily fazed. I am patient and value hands-on activity away from screens. My personal philosophy is one of fostering independence and self reflection- I always look for ways to make children feel helpful and included.

Teo is absolutely amazing with our 3 year old twin boys!! They de-escalate the endless sibling fights amazingly and with complete calm and composure. In addition, I feel like my own mental load is lifted and I can share the burden of having to create increasingly colorful, interactive, and engaging meals for my picky eaters with a caretaker who is very creative and quick on their feet. :) I could list off more of Teo's wonderful qualities, but I think the most telling thing is that my son (who is extremely strong-willed, challenging, focused, determined, and doesn't like anybody new) loves to make up adventurous stories and Teo is now often the star of those adventures. Today, he didn't want Teo to leave, and it was incredibly sweet to see that he was able to connect with someone who isn't mom, dad, or brother. <3 <3 <3
