About Teniya

Hello! My name is Teniya! A midwest transplant enjoying Boston. I am an experienced nanny with a background in healthcare (pediatrics) and early childhood education. Most of my experience is with infants and toddlers but do spend time volunteering with older children as well. I am search of a full time/long term position. Ideally 2 years+. I do not have a vehicle but am comfortable using public transportation to take children to activities and I have had families provide vehicles in the past if needed. As a nanny, my priority is childcare but also educating. I believe in learning through play but also use my early childhood background to be sure that children in my care are provided the tools to nourish their milestones. I worked in a Montessori Childcare center and do bring elements of that experience into the home. In my free time I love to explore our local museums. I am also a big reader and that is a passion I love to pass on to children in my care.
