I currently work at family residence and a facility for individuals with a variety of mental/developmental disabilities. I have worked here for two years, in a group home setting. I have cared for individuals with schizophrenia, autism, alzheimer's, borderline personality disorder and impulse control disorder to name a few. My responsibilities include but are not limited to , administering medications, taking individuals to medical appointments, providing emotional support, ensuring they maintain oral hygiene as well as overall hygiene. Providing assistance with using the bathroom and showering etc.
