I started caring for children when I was a teenager. Many weekend nights I spent babysitting for families in our community. I was also in child development classes in high school and participated in a Ready, Set, Teach program. I always knew I wanted to work with children as an adult!! I enjoy working with children because they bring genuine joy to my life. I love to see life through their eyes and watch them experience new things. I would like the families to know that I truly adore children. They are to be protected and loved. I promise to care for the children with the utmost respect and integrity. I will protect them and provide a safe space for them. I also understand that children require plenty of patience. I am effective at remaining calm and using effective communication skills to problem solve. I am compassionate and can help children work through their difficult emotions.

Teagan worked for my family as our son’s nanny. He was barely 3mo when she started. During her time with us, she proved to be reliable, kind, fun, and skilled at caretaking!
