These include babysitting, homework helper, assistant dance teacher for beginning dancers, and assistant teacher for a first-grade classroom. I have also worked in after-school programs including homework club, self lead social and emotional awareness classes and community service projects. Additionally, I have served as a tutor for a reluctant learner who has math and literacy challenges and throughout COVID I was able to create an extensive project-based curriculum for a kindergartener which focused on the basic elements of math and literacy. My strengths when working with children include creativity and willingness to play, patience, ability to create structure and foster learning, and a passion for outdoor physical activity.

Téa has been an amazing caretaker for our 17-month-old son over the past year. In addition to being a reliable, friendly, and trustworthy person, her dedication to early education has exceeded our expectations. Téa does her research and brings in fun activities each week that hit on key developmental milestones. In our playroom, she put together a wall of milestones to show what our son has completed along with what he is currently working on with her. At the end of each week, she sends a detailed text with pictures of recent activities. We are sad that we cannot keep her as our circumstances have changed but hope she can offer this type of care to another family.
