I've been helping with homework, homeschooling siblings, and privately tutoring for over a decade now. I enjoy working with children and seeing them start to understand new or difficult things. I have experience patiently working with boys and girls from preschool-7th grade, some with learning disabilities. I've also helped middle and high school students and even helped prepare for a college math test. Over the course of 3 years, I spent a year of that (a few months at a time) in Guatemala learning Spanish through immersion and working with children who have severe special needs. I helped some of them with basic skills and preschool as well. I also have experience and resources strengthening English skills for those who are learning it as a second language.
